There is something special about working with middle schoolers. Every day we get to work with students who are figuring out who they are, discovering their strengths, testing boundaries and learning how they fit into the world.

Students between the ages of eleven and fifteen are changing faster than almost any other age group. One moment they want independence and the next they still need reassurance. They may seem confident one day and unsure of themselves the next. As educators, we have the opportunity to be one of the steady adults in their lives.

This session is an opportunity to reflect together on what our students need during these years but also share ideas that help us connect with them.
