I love learning and teaching and have spent the last 29 years working with students from kindergarten to early college in both public and private education settings. Currently, I teach high school English at Cedar High School here in southern Utah. I'm passionate about disciplinary literacy and finding practical ways to scaffold student research and writing—which is what brings me here with Scrible! When I'm not in the classroom, you'll find me hanging out with my husband, Burke, and our Italian Greyhound, Blaze or getting lost in a good book.
