About me
I am an experienced educator and school leader with a strong commitment to student success and community engagement. I graduated from Cedar High School before pursuing higher education at Southern Utah University, where I earned both a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Master’s degree in Education. These experiences provided a solid academic foundation and shaped my passion for teaching and learning.I began my teaching career in Wyoming, where I spent three years developing my instructional skills and building meaningful relationships with students. I then returned to Utah and taught for one year at Richfield High School. Following that experience, I joined South Sevier High School, where I dedicated 16 years to teaching. During this time, I focused on creating engaging learning environments, supporting student growth, and collaborating with colleagues to strengthen school programs.Building on my classroom experience, I transitioned into school leadership and have served as a high school administrator for the past five years. In this role, I have worked to support teachers, improve student outcomes, and foster a positive and inclusive school culture. My approach to leadership is grounded in clear communication, consistency, and a focus on helping both students and staff reach their full potential.
