Sally Baird is the elementary school librarian at Midway Elementary in Wasatch County, Utah. A certified teacher with a master’s degree in education, she is passionate about creating a joyful culture of reading where curiosity, imagination, and belonging thrive.Through immersive literacy events, interactive storytelling, and creative programming, Sally brings books to life for students and helps them connect with stories in meaningful ways. Her goal is to help every child see themselves as a reader while building empathy, imagination, and critical thinking.Sally also collaborates with teachers to strengthen schoolwide reading culture through teacher book clubs, literacy initiatives, and classroom partnerships. She enjoys sharing practical ideas with educators for creating engaging literacy experiences that invite all students into the world of books.
