About me
Kim Montano has been teaching music for 20+ years, with experience in public school, private studio, university, and Montessori settings, and has a wide range of experience from preschools to drumlines. She currently works as the Program Director for Arts Education at Westminster University. Kim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Science from Utah State University; and a Master of Arts in Teaching degree with a concentration in Music Education from Westminster University. She has been a previous presenter at several state-wide and national professional development conferences, and training workshops. Kim is crazy about her family (three almost-grown kids, a husband, and a small spoiled dog), playing percussion, musicals, and Disney trips.
