About me
Jamie Webb, M.Ed. is the Special Education Director and Preschool Director for Wayne School District in rural Utah. With more than 25 years of experience in education and mental health and 8 years in educational leadership, she is recognized for developing innovative, sustainable systems that improve outcomes for students while maximizing limited resources in rural communities.
Jamie specializes in reimagining special education service delivery through cross-agency collaboration, creative staffing models, grant development, and strategic resource allocation. Her work has transformed access to specialized services by leveraging partnerships with related service providers, behavioral health professionals, community organizations, and regional agencies to expand opportunities for students with disabilities while maintaining fiscal responsibility and IDEA compliance.
A passionate advocate for students with significant and complex needs, Jamie has led initiatives in MTSS, PBIS, behavior systems, inclusive practices, and data-driven decision making that have increased student independence, expanded access to general education, and improved academic and behavioral outcomes. She is committed to helping rural districts think differently about challenges—turning barriers into opportunities through innovation, collaboration, and creative problem-solving.
When she isn't working to improve educational systems, Jamie enjoys spending time with her husband and five children, traveling, camping, water skiing, horseback riding, and team roping.
