About me
Cheynie Wray is the Teen Programs Specialist and an Outreach Educator at the Springville Museum of Art (SMA). Cheynie graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.A. in Art History and Curatorial Studies in 2024. Before working at the SMA, Cheynie was a Student Educator at the BYU Museum of Art (MOA). As a member of the SMA Outreach team, Cheynie has taught thousands of elementary and middle school students across the State. As Teen Programs Specialist, Cheynie has helped to facilitate the Utah All-State High School Art Show for hundreds of Utah high school artists. Cheynie will be starting an M.A. in Comparative Studies at BYU this Fall.
