About me
While my audience and learning objectives have changed over the years, I am an educator at heart. I began as a high school math teacher, then moved into educational technology briefly before diving into building administration. This year, I am transitioning into the Director of School Improvement role, where I support school leadership teams in navigating the complex system surrounding school accountability systems and federal turnaround.
When you work hard, you have to play hard. I love getting out into nature, going on adventures of all kinds with family or friends, live music and dancing, and babysitting our two grandsons.
My personal projects are working on all aspects of health and wellness (so I can keep up with those grandbabies for as long as possible), and learning Spanish (again). I also love to read around 3 books at a time; one for fun, one for personal development, and one for professional development.
