About me
Hello! I'm Melodie Garcia, a Family and Consumer Sciences teacher who is passionate about helping my junior school students develop practical life skills through engaging, hands on learning. I enjoy creating lessons that connect classroom concepts to real life experiences while encouraging creativity, collaboration and critical thinking. As a middle level teacher, my goal is to create a supportive classroom where students build confidence, make informed decisions and gain skills they can use beyond the classroom walls. I believe meaningful learning happens when students see the value of what they're learning in their everyday lives.
