About me
Dr. Crystal Stott is an Assistant Professor of Education and Family Studies at Snow College and an Adjunct Faculty member and Clinical Field Supervisor for Utah Valley University. With a background spanning early childhood through higher education, she brings nearly two decades of experience in teaching, instructional design, and faculty development. Her work focuses on innovative, relationship-centered pedagogy, AI integration, special education, and practical instructional strategies that support both faculty and student success.
Dr. Stott holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University, a Master of Science in Special Education from Western Governors University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Utah State University. She also maintains endorsements in early childhood, reading, educational technology, and K-12 Certification. Her teaching portfolio includes courses in introduction to education, instructional technology, special education, and family-school collaboration, as well as Level 3 elementary education courses, offered online, hybrid, and in-person formats.
At Snow College, Dr. Stott serves as Co-Director of Faculty Development and plays a leading role in campus-wide AI implementation, including designing faculty training, developing an AI resource hub, and contributing to a three-year institutional AI plan. She frequently presents at conferences, leads professional development initiatives, and supports rural teacher pipeline partnerships. Her work emphasizes practical innovation, accessible course design, and empowering educators to create engaging, meaningful learning experiences.
